When it comes to K swapping your car into an S2000 or any rear wheel drive configuration, we’ve always had this problem with the oil riding up the Timing cover under hard breaking.
We do offer an in pan baffle for K20a2 oil pumps, however, many of us leave the stock K 24 oil pump so we don’t have a solution for ourselves to fix this problem.
This product is a timing chain cover baffle that sandwiches between the oil pan and engine block. It limits the amount of oil that would be allowed to slosh up the timing chain cover under hard left-hand turns in the original FWD orientation or under hard braking in a RWD set up. Like a K series swap in a S2000, RX7, AE86, etc.
This design follows the contours of the pan, keeping oil closer to the pick-up by not allowing it to travel up the timing chain side as well as allowing oil to return to the pan.
Installation is the same as the stock oil pan. Using high temp silicone on each side of the plate to mate to the engine block and oil pan.
